Metropolitan Avenue (Demolished) Station · Opened 12/2/1916 · Closed 4/15/1985

Before the end of the Jamaica El was demolished, there were additional stations at Metropolitan Ave., Queens Blvd., Sutphin Blvd., 160th St., and 168th Street. These stations were eliminated in the early 1980s prior to the opening of the Archer Avenue subway extension in 1988. We have included photos of these now-demolished stations.
