The "N" panel of Q is for Queens, artwork installed here and at 33rd and 46th St. stations on the Flushing line.

Overview

Opened: 4/21/1917

40th Street/Lowery Street is next and resembles 33rd. Exit is in the center and at this time has no crossunder due to dual fare controls. Renovation by NYCT employees will include a crossunder. The mezzanine is tile. The north end has gaps in the windscreen on the southbound platform and no gaps on the northbound platform. New stained glass artwork has been installed along the platforms.
