The next stations through and including 72nd St. are on two levels, with the uptown-bound trains on the upper level, and the downtown trains on the lower level. There is one side platform for local service on the west side of the station on each level. The express track is to the east of the local track along the tunnel wall. Tile color is blue with a black border with blue I-beams.

103rd Street. The fare control is at platform level. At the north end of this station the uptown express tracks descend in preparation for the four track alignment at 116th St. The exit to 102nd St. has been tiled off.
