Overview

The Woltersdorf Straßenbahn is a short, islolated tramway, located in Woltersdorf, part of the Berlin/Brandenburg metropolitan region. The line is in Zone C of the VBB tariff system, and is numbered Line 87. Constructed in 1913 to connect to the Berlin S-bahn, it has not been extended since and is operated with historic four-wheel trams.

From Rahnsdorf S-bhf it runs through the Köpenick Forest, then via Berliner Strasse into the town of Woltersdorf. The rest of the line is street-running to the terminus at Schleuse. The depot is located near Thälmanplatz, via a short spur. Midday service is approximately every 20 minutes with two trams operating. The historic trams that operate daily are ex-Gotha, manufactured between 1957 and 1961. Several other heritage cars are operated occasionally.
