Signs are placed in a holder to indicate train's destination. Cabs on the PRR St. Louis MUs were placed on the left side as an experiment to allow the right door to be used by passengers in one-man operation (never done). While St. Louis cars have operated over the entire SEPTA system, they saw considerable service on the Harrisburg and Airport lines. Car is in its 45th year of service, may be retired in 2012.
