NYC Subway Fan Trip: 9/29/2019

Notes:

The New York Transit Museum's annual Parade of Trains was held on September 28 and 29, 2019. Trains operated from Brighton Beach station to Kings Highway, on the BMT Brighton Line, and return, non-stop; and also from Brighton Beach to Ocean Parkway layups and return.

Trains operating were:

  • IND Arnines, (north) 1802-1000-381-100 (south)
  • BMT Standards, (north) 2390-2391-2392 (south)
  • BMT Gate Cars, (north) 1404-1237-1407 (south)
  • Mixed SMEE lashup, (north) R-33 World's Fair 9307, R-38 4029-4028, R-33 World's Fair 9308

Notes: With R38s 4028-4029 in the middle; as this is a B Division line, the R33 World's Fair cars could not open their doors (the gap would be dangerously large) – one would have to enter through the R38 and use the end door to access them.
