Glass mosaic murals The panels on the uptown side are Minton's Playhouse, and on the downtown side Movers and Shakers.

Artist Vincent Smith's mural features cultural figures from Harlem, including Miles Davis, Charlie Parker, Sarah Vaughn and Dinah Washington. It is Smith's intention to "capture the lyricism and spirit of the African Diaspora within the Harlem community." Source: nyc.gov
