6387 New York Transit Museum collection. Car 6387 had been on static display inoperable but in 2014 was returned to operational status and operated a Transit Museum Nostalgia Train trip on August 3, 2014.

6400-6424 No standee poles, as a test of passenger space utilization.
6400, 6418 Swapped numbers in 1964.
6452 Located until July, 2004 at P.S. 248, Brooklyn (a NYCT training facility). Was used as a training car. Painted in redbird scheme; not operational. In July 2004, car was removed to Linden Yard, Brooklyn, and will be replaced at P.S. 248 with R-110B 3005. 6452 was moved in 2005 to Coney Island Yard. In July 2007, the car was moved to the SBK yard for asbestos abatement and scrapping.

6494 Rear-ended by a BMT Standard; pushed against bumping block at Broad St., 9/26/1957. Good end of 6494 used to repair R-27 8217.
