Midland Railway Centre

The Midlands Rail Centre is one of the smaller properties of those that we visited. It features a ride of steam-hauled mainline coaches and a workshop area at a mid-way station along the ride. The schedules aren't really designed to allow a short visit to the workshops (minimum of 1 hour between trains), and as we were getting real tired by the afternoon of our first day, we skipped the workshops.
